About Me

Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shenzhen University (SZU), and an Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The University of Hong Kong (HKU).

Prior to joining SZU, I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at HKU, a Hans Rademacher Instructor of Mathematics at The University of Pennsylvania, and a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Mathematics at The University of California, Berkeley. My Ph.D. in Mathematics was earned at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, under the supervision of Prof. Nader Masmoudi. My MPhil in Mathematics was earned at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Prof. Zhouping Xin.

Research Overview

My research interests include Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations, Analysis (PDEs), Analysis, Applied Mathematics, Control Theory, and Optimization.

The primary focus of my research is the mathematical analysis of PDEs, such as well-posedness, ill-posedness, solution structures, and long-time asymptotic behavior, arising in physical and economic systems. Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Fluid Dynamics,
• Integrable Systems,
• Kinetic Theory,
• Mathematical Biology,
• Mathematical Economics/Finance,
• Mean-field Games and Mean-field Type Control Problems.
